The Maryland Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA) has a distinguished history of supporting, promoting, and providing services and assitance to member businesses since 1934 - we definitely have roots!

It is vital to support the role of the green industry in our communities, as well as provide a unified voice for the industry for the purposes of education, legislation, and marketing. MNLA supports and unites all constituent groups of the horticulture industry, including landscape, garden centers, interiorscape, grounds maintenance, nursery, greenhouse, aboriculture, botanical gardens and other allied businesses. CPH Program Update

The CPH Basic Manual has undergone significant revision over the past two years.   Every single chapter has been reviewed, re-written, and updated.  Dated graphics have been replaced and new chapters added, including Propagation, Greenhouse Production, and New Technologies.  In addition, the Basic Plant List has been thoroughly amended with notations added to show invasive tendencies, if applicable.

This manual will be ready for distribution in December 2014; the MNLA is making it available to current and active CPHers at a cost of $75.00 per copy.

For more information on ordering, and to preview a sneak peak of a few of the chapters, please visit the CPH Program page and select the link on the left, CPH Manual - 2014.

Legislation / Maryland Green Industry Council (MaGIC)

New laws are propsed every year during the General Assembly. The MNLA is a member of the Maryland Green Industry Council (MaGIC), which serves Maryland's horticulture industry as a lobbying arm and legislative resource on issues affecting Maryland's "Green Industry." The voice of MaGIC can be heard around Annapolis, and around the state, as it lends its expertise, insight, and testimony on pertinent legislation and governance.  For updates on legislation followed during the previous Session, or for more information on how to contact your elected officials, select here.
